Incredible Edwardian lace ensemble made entirely by hand using traditional tatted lace techniques. This set was most likely destined to become a gown when it was made, but for some reason it never made it. We have added silk ribbons to the waistline and the neckline of the two pieces to give it an adjustable, draping silhouette, much more conducive with modern wear, and infinitely more versatile. An absolutely stunning set, and remarkable example of early lacework.

Excellent condition.
