Stunning inky black 1990s silk gown by Anne Bowen. Made from a shell of transparent black silk chiffon with a nude lining showing through, finished with black velvet cuffs and a sweeping hood, this gown is so striking with its contrast of color and texture. Beautiful princess lines throughout that elongate the body, a very modern look. There is a high front slit at the center front that flashes as your walk. Closes at the center back as well at at the cuffs with invisible zippers for easy on and off. Drama in every sense of the word!

Overall excellent condition with some minor cosmetic notes. There are a handful of pulled threads in the chiffon as well some marks to the lining at the back of the train- neither of which are particularly noticeable when worn. One one sleeve, we expertly repaired a small hole on the sleeve by covering with an antique lace flower. Presents beautifully!
