Remarkable 1920s silk chiffon long sleeved gown with the most amazing lamé dagger hem. A wide band of exquisite multicolor Art Deco geometric lamé wraps around the entirety of the hem of the dress, and is perfectly balanced with a gorgeous array of handmade and applied gold bullion ribbon work flowers at the shoulder and low hip. The sheerness of the gown gives a marvelous effect, and makes it a perfect layering piece. So so special, a glorious symphony of color, texture and pattern, all wrapped up into a strikingly modern ensemble. 

Excellent condition. Minor tarnish to the flower appliqués, and one or two tiny pinholes on the arm that have been treated to prevent worsening. Presents as mint.
