Circa late 19th century. Pressed paper with a beautifully detailed micro floral print. Patent dates embossed on the interior, May 24 1892 and October 5 1892, Made in Bridgeport CT by the Compressed Paper Box Co. There is a "Directions" sticker mounted on one side- it appears this box may have been used to hold some sort of medication or remedy. Very cool and unusual find! Nice condition.
