Sweetest 1930s cotton lace mini dress with the most beautiful handiwork throughout, carefully embroidered at the neckline and around the hem. This little slip is remarkable- it is completely sewn by hand (no sewing machine!) using the finest of materials, including French lace and soft baby blue silk and silk threads. This piece was very likely a custom made trousseau piece for a very wealthy woman in the 1930s. The style is very unusual, with a metal zipper sewn into the side, which allows the slip to have an ultra fitted silhouette. This sweet little piece has endless styling opportunities- layer it, wear it tucked into a skirt or pants, a perfect piece for day to night wear.
