Striking early 20th century (estimated to be from about the 1920s) Romanian folk dress, made from handwoven cotton and linen, and marvelously embroidered by hand throughout the bodice and sleeves. The color choices on this dress are unusual- with warm and bright complimentary colors- jewel tones are more commonly seen. This piece is perfect for the cooler months, made in a heavier weight fabric than most, in a loose and flattering shift that fits a range of sizes comfortably. This sweet piece has endless styling opportunities, and is great for layering. A one of a kind treasure!
