Quintessential 1930s Old Hollywood style gown made in a gossamer white silk organza. Perfectly styled with fabulous art deco chevron micropleating through the sweeping trumpet skirt, incredibly voluminous puffed sleeves and a fabulous dagger collar. Every detail is right on target, down to the sweet Czech glass buttons at the bodice and sleeve cuffs. Beautifully made with hidden side snap closures, as well as two hidden snaps at the front placket neckline- the buttons are for appearances only. Has an NRA label in the side seam denoting that this gown was made precisely between 1933-1935. An iconic example of the era that translates beautifully for modern wear. Style it with a colorful slip or fabulous skivvies, the options are endless.

Note: Belt is for styling purposes only and is not included.

Overall excellent condition with minor notes. There are a handful of very small (largest 1/4") subtle ghost marks scattered throughout in inconspicuous places, a handful of small marks at the hem and a couple pinholes in the lower back skirt, all of which gets entirely lost in the drape. There is an ever so slight abrasion to the side of the bodice which is functionally invisible when worn. Presents beautifully and is very strong and wearable.
