Absolutely incredible 1930s rayon crepe gown in the wildest Art Deco pattern of black and marigold. The pattern of this fabric is so unique, featuring florals, acorns, and other abstract forms. The dress has a slight cowl neck at the front, and is open at the back save for two thin V shaped straps. The fabric is cut on the bias, and forms perfectly to the body, with a very full and swirling skirt. Dress has no closures.
In overall incredible condition. A couple light marks at the underarms that fade into the pattern of the fabric, and one or two very small pinholes. The ribbon that acts as the straps is a replacement, but it works very well. Overall strong and wearable and presents beautifully.
