Remarkable 1920s cotton deco floral duster made from a rare toile fabric. This fabric was popular in the 1920s and 30s for curtains and other household linens, often portraying figural, floral or abstract deco prints in elaborate colors and patterns. This garment is a rare example of toile material being used for garment material. It is marvelously constructed with contrasting cuffs and collar, and a fabulous hand carved mother of pearl button. A truly one of a kind piece, perfect for year round layering.

Excellent condition.
