Incredible early 1930s luscious inky black silk charmeuse gown. Fabulous deco lines give this bias cut beauty a full mermaid hem. Has ruffles at the neckline that wrap to the back. Sleeveless, and so, so sexy. Closes at one side with many hidden snaps, and has an attached belt with a rhinestone buckle.

Overall very good condition. There are 2 patched spots on the collar and another at the side snaps, none show when worn. There are some small stitched repairs at the side snap area, which are very strong and blend in nicely. There are a few small holes at the edge of the side of the ruffle, very minor. The fabric is mostly very strong and supple, there is just a small amount of dryness around the side closure, so snaps should be used with care and not yanked, but otherwise this dress is ready to live her next life! Presents as mint, save for a few missing rhinestones to the buckle.
