Stunning 1930s silk velvet bias cut capelet gown in an unusual moody shade of dark burgundy that oscillates somewhere between purple and brown in the changing light. Elegant styling with deco lines throughout, and a dramatic kick of volume at the back of the skirt. A sweet capelet is attached at the bodice that drapes beautifully across the shoulders and down the back. The silk velvet is incredibly soft and sumptuous, quintessentially luxurious to wear! No side closures, but has a large amount of bias stretch that makes it easy to slip on and off.

Excellent condition. Two small invisible seam repairs and two pinholes all of which gets entirely lost when worn. Some very light expected wear to the velvet, but no major crushing in any particular area. Presents beautifully.
