1920s Art Deco Threadwork Roses Dress [sm/med/lrg]

Absolutely incredible 1920s filet lace dress made entirely by hand with contrasting ivory threads hand woven into the mesh in art deco rose floral designs. This garment is a masterful work of textile art, perfectly exemplifying the unique textural experimentation that was happening in the textile industry in the 1920s. The combination of filet lace and and weaving overlay creates an incredible depth to the pattern, perfectly framed by the simplicity of the dress design itself, allowing the incredible material to shine. Boxy, super draping fit with long fitted sleeves and handmade crochet buttons down the front allowing for a flexible neckline. A true example of one of a kind wearable art.
