Description

Absolutely stunning 1930s-1940s butter yellow bias gown made from a sumptuous crepe back silk satin, an incredibly luxurious fabric with a wonderful opacity that makes this gown so easy to wear. Beautifully styled with a draping dolman sleeve accentuated by art deco lace inserts, and finished with a super flattering wrap front bodice. The silk satin has an ever so slightly hammered finish that reflects the light beautifully and creates a stunning fluid sheen, very much in the category of "liquid silk". Absolutely gorgeous and a joy to wear, this gown dresses up and down beautifully and will quickly become a warm weather favorite.

Excellent condition. At Demetra, each garment is thoroughly cleaned, inspected for damage and professionally repaired with nearly a decade of experience in tailoring and working with antique materials. Each garment will arrive clean and ready to wear will little to no signs of age.
