Unbelievably special 1930s gold lamé jacket made from the most exquisite art deco silk lamé fabric in a rich, vivid shade of scarlet. I cannot stress enough how beautifully made this jacket is, with incredible attention to detail and sensitivity to material choice. The lamé itself is of the highest caliber, made with silk and metal fibers smoothly woven for an incredibly luxurious feel. Similarly, the coat is entirely lined with a high quality and weighty silk faille, one of most expensive options for lining, with a slightly matte finish that provides a fantastic contrast to the shiny, reflective lamé shell. Beautiful deco styling with darted puffed shoulders, wide cut sleeves, large functional patch pockets and a draping fit through the body. An absolutely incredible example with all the best of old world techniques and materials, but in a shockingly modern and easy to wear silhouette. Truly timeless.

Incredible near pristine condition. Only notes are some incredibly subtle tarnish in a few small areas- nearly impossible to detect when worn, and a few small marks on the lining. Feels so unbelievably new, seems unworn.
