Incredibly rare 1930s icy blue rayon crepe back satin ensemble, including a cropped balloon sleeve blouse and matching high waisted pleated wide leg trousers. The set is perfectly styled for a super flattering fit with a strikingly modern feel. The blouse closes down the front with sweet rounded mother of pearl buttons, and the trousers have a rare patented Kover zipper at the side seam, and hooks at the waistline. Dresses up or down beautifully, with endless styling versatility to each piece worn as separates, or as a co-ord set.

Excellent restored condition. When found, the trousers had quite a few pulled seams and pinholes at the pleat points which have been carefully and invisibly reinforced in house and are now very stable. The pants have two small spots (about 1" each) at the side back pant leg that are slightly lightened- but do not show much when worn due to the sheen of the material and fullness of the pant leg. The blouse is in excellent condition with just a few minor marks. Overall the set is in fantastic condition with only cosmetic notes- it is entirely wearable and ready for its next life, however it has been priced according to condition and rarity.
