Incredibly rare 1920s pistachio green silk satin robe handmade to perfection with all the best boudoir detailing. The neckline is trimmed with hand applied French lace and finished with spiral floral silk ribbonwork at the collar and cuffs. The robe is loosely cut with a dropped waistline, and a tie to one side that sits just below the natural waist, beautifully accentuating the body. The green silk itself (in an impossible to find color!) has an incredible sheen that reflect light as it moves. Originally would have been worn as a robe, but wears beautifully as a dress! No labels are present, but the high quality construction suggests it was professionally made- this was likely a custom made garment and truly one of a kind.

Remarkable condition. There are a handful of subtle scattered storage marks and one pinhole in the skirt, but it is otherwise pristine. Original basting stitches in the collar are still in place. Appears likely unworn.
