Unique 1930s ivory silk crepe dress and capelet set with an NRA label dating it precisely to 1933-1935. The styling on this piece is so elegant, cut on the bias for a super flattering fit, with unusual details that really make it stand out. The lace yoke is gathered at the neckline with attached silk ties and the sweetest red wooden baubles dangling from the end. At the back of the dress is an attached belt at the waistline with a mother of pearl buckle that fastens for a perfectly cinched fit. The very best part is the fabulous capelet with wing-like sleeves and textural corded detailing at the neckline, closing at the center waist with mother of pearl buttons to match the buckle on the dress. The capelet is sweet as can be, with a distinctly modern feel- it can definitely be worn again and again, dressed up or down: wear it with some high waisted jeans for a perfect spring casual look!

Excellent condition. Minor wear to red beads.
