Superbly elegant early 20th century cotton dressing gown with miles of handmade lace intertwined throughout. The body of the gown is made from a soft and light as air cotton that drapes beautifully over the body. The gown has large puffed sleeves that end in ruffled lace cuffs. The entire piece is outfitted with alternating needle and bobbin laces that create beautiful texture alongside one another. There is a very long train that follows behind you as you walk. Opens at the center front with a few mother of pearl button closures.
Excellent condition! Has one small period repair on the placket that does not detract when worn, and a few minor marks at the hem. Presents as mint when worn.
