Unreal 1930s art deco gown set in a soft peach cotton and rayon blend lace. Classic deco lines with a sexy low cut back and spaghetti straps. The lace has a nice amount of comfortable stretch for a body skimming fit. Comes with a uniquely styled capelet with a very loose, open fit and and tight lace sleeves with invisible snaps at the wrist. The effect is dramatic and impressively sculptural for a gown made of such a delicate material. The original belt has a utterly incredible art deco paste belt, and the gown comes with the matching dress clip, shown clipped to the bodice. The gown and capelet are entirely sheer, and make for great styling pieces, worn together or separately. The gown bears an NRA label, denoting it was made precisely between 1933-1935.
