Unbelievably beautiful 1930s merlot textured rayon gown with bullion lamé embroidery throughout. This gown has got it all- sharp dagger collar, molded celluloid buttons with rhinestone centers, sculptural sleeves, sexy open back, and a sexy leg slit at the front hem. The embroidered lamé details almost seem to emulate the shapes of clouds, and float beautifully through the unusually textured fabric. A remarkable example of old Hollywood glamour. 

Excellent condition overall. There are a couple minor repairs to the fabric that are expertly done and blend in beautifully. One or two pinholes on the sleeves. Presents as mint.
