Gorgeous 1920s handmade flapper headpiece made from gold bullion threads and black sequins carefully applied by hand over a soft cotton mesh, and finished with a draping glass bead fringe across the entire bottom edge. Very likely French in origin, this is a quintessential example of high fashion flapper accessories. Absolutely exquisite to behold, and perfect finishing touch for a femme fatale ensemble.

Excellent condition. There is some ever so slight verdigris tarnish to the bullion threads on the back (please see last photo) but it is only noticeable upon very close inspection.

Measurements:

There is some flexibility to the sizing as the cotton mesh base has some pliability.

Circumference approx 22 in
