1930s Rainbow Hydrangea Silk Chiffon Gown [xs/sm]

£645.00

Gorgeous 1930s silk chiffon gown featuring a painterly hydrangea floral print in a riot of vibrant colors. Fabulous deco styling with a curve hugging bias cut fit, matching self covered buttons down the front, a super drapey deco styled bodice and a sweet ascot detail at the neckline. Comes with a matching belt with a fabulous art deco diamanté buckle. Unique details including a sexy slit at the back, and trumpet style fullness towards the hem that adds wonderful drama, moving with the wearer. Closes at one side with hidden snaps closures for easy on and off. A perfect piece to dress up or down; wear it to your next garden party or wedding reception!

Excellent restored condition. When found, there was a 3-4 inch tear at the back hem likely caused by a caught heel when dancing. This tear, along with a few other tiny (1/4" or smaller) holes have been professionally repaired in house and are now very strong and functionally invisible. The top button has been replaced with an era appropriate diamanté button to match the belt buckle. Presents as mint condition when worn.
