Unbelievably beautiful 1930s ivory silk tulle gown covered in art deco silk appliqués, reminiscent of abstracted florals or crescent moons. This gown was custom made by an extremely talented seamstress in Pittsburgh, PA, and came to us in a small collection of gowns made by the same woman, each one more fabulous than the last. Of all the beautiful gowns that have passed through my hands over the years, this is hands down one of the most unique, with just about every box checked: volume, craftsmanship, epic sleeves, transparency, texture... the list goes on. The silhouette is incredibly flattering with a tight waist and huge, voluminous skirt, and will wear beautifully on just about every body type. The gown has a carefully hidden closure system at the side waistline, and an attached belt that closes with hidden hooks. A perfect one of a kind option for a bride- but wear it again and again, transformed by what you choose to wear underneath: add a vibrant slip for a pop if color, or a fabulous skivvies set for a sultry take.

Excellent, near pristine condition.
