Absolutely incredible 1930s Old Hollywood style gown made from luxurious gold floral silk lamé in a vivid shade of tangerine orange. Beautifully handmade, this gown was very likely a custom made garment for a very lucky woman. It is carefully crafted with pleated detailing and a gorgeous bow at the bodice, a beautifully fitted waistline and heavy gathering at the back for a bustle-like effect. The entire gown is cut on the bias for a perfect body skimming fit accentuated by the super full draping skirt. The sexy, super low cut back is the icing on the cake, making this gown a quintessential Old Hollywood dream. Truly one of a kind, this gown is an absolute masterpiece and is sure to dazzle wherever the holidays may take you.

Excellent condition. Some very light wear to the straps and extremely minor tarnish to the back of the bodice. Presents beautifully when worn.

Note: At the back of the bodice where the straps meet the back waist there is small modesty panel that has been stitched in by hand to add a bit more coverage in the back; this is original, a modification likely done shortly after the dress was made and in the same lamé fabric. As it is hand basted in and does not intersect any other seams, it can be very easily removed if desired for a slightly lower cut back fit. If you would like us to remove this panel before shipping, please send a message and we will happily make this modification for you, however please note that modified garments are not eligible for return.
