Gorgeous 1930s purse made from a sumptuous black silk faille detailed with hand worked floral embroideries in the Point de Beauvais style, which was very popular in the 1920s-30s and famously crafted in French ateliers and couture workrooms. Has a brass frame with filigree baubles at the top, closing securely with a hidden kiss lock at the interior. Silk loop handle is easy to carry, and can even be worn as a wristlet if desired. An absolutely gorgeous example and perfect for a night out on the town- it will go perfectly with just about anything! And yes, it fits an iPhone!

Excellent condition with some subtle wear and patina to the brass frame. The purse itself is in fantastic with only some subtle staining to the interior lining. Presents as mint.
