Exquisite 1920s robe made from a body of silk lace trimmed in rich silk charmeuse, fully lined with pale pink silk chiffon and finished with the most incredible angel sleeves that lead into a long Grecian cape that drapes down the back. The dramatic silk chiffon sleeves and cape float around the wearer with movement creating a truly ethereal effect. Ties at the interior with hidden silk ribbons to keep the crossover layer perfectly in place, and closes with an invisible snap on the exterior. Finished with gorgeous hand worked floral ribbon work at the hip and scattered across the sleeves and cape. Wears beautifully as a gown as well as a robe- this piece is truly one of a kind and so, so very versatile. 

Excellent condition. Some incredibly subtle discoloration to the sleeve/cape that is nearly impossible to see without very close inspection. When found there was one very small hole in the sleeve so we have added small period correct antique ribbon work appliqués to cover it, and a few more throughout the cape to balance the look. Presents as mint.
