Elegant 1940s cropped balloon sleeve jacket made from a luxuriously thick silk crepe with absolutely gorgeous luster and shine. The styling has a distinctly modern feel, somewhat reminiscent of a much more flattering bomber jacket. Has a unique closure system at the center front and cuffs with toggle knots and frogs masterfully crafted by hand from the same silk crepe material. A vintage staple piece with endless styling opportunities and perfect for day to night wear.

Overall excellent restored condition. One very small (about 1/2 in) fuctionally invisible repair on the sleeve that gets totally lost in the drape. Minor surface wear, presents as mint.
