1930s Silk Jacquard X Back Bias Gown [sm/med]

£671.00

Unbelievably beautiful 1930s ivory silk jacquard bias cut gown with absolutely exquisite detailing. The silk fabric itself is jacquard woven with subtle monochrome blooms throughout, accentuated at the bodice with meticulous floral silk and mesh embroideries, masterful gathering and pin tucking. The back design is unique, with x cross straps bearing even more hand embroidery and finished with attached ties for a perfect fit at the waist. This piece is of the very highest caliber construction, almost certainly a custom made garment and sewn entirely by hand, even down to the side seams. A certifiable treasure that would make for an unforgettable bridal ensemble or wedding dress.

Excellent condition. There is one pinhole at the front waist and a few incredibly subtle marks at the bust that get entirely lost in the drape and are entirely imperceptible when worn. Presents beautifully.
