1930s Serpent Green Silk Satin Gown [sm/med]
£773.00
Unreal 1930s Old Hollywood style gown made from the most beautiful quality crepe back silk satin in a rich serpent green. This gown in truly everything: super flattering bias cut fit, sexy plunging back, voluminous and sculptural gathered sleeves, and that perfect pop of color in a frankly universally flattering shade. The sheen of the silk reflects light like nothing I have ever seen before, almost like a changeable silk flashing green and gold as you move. Soft, elegant, and a wonderful opportunity for a statement belt or shoes to elevate the monochrome look even further. Comes with the original matching belt (not shown).
Excellent condition. In the lower skirt there are one or two small areas of ever so slight darkening that gets entirely lost in the sheen when worn. Otherwise just a few scattered very minor pulls/scuffs, and extremely subtle underarm discoloration that is completely imperceptible when worn. Presents as mint condition.
Measurements:
Some flexibility in size due to bias cut style. No side closures, but has a huge amount of give to easily go on over the shoulders.
