A gorgeous example of a 1930s Hungarian embroidered peasant dress made from a light cotton with short puffed sleeves. The cuffs and waistband are hand smocked with a nice amount of flexibility for comfortable wear. No closures, slips on easily over the head. A perfect layering piece, in wonderful (and unusual!) colors for fall. 

Excellent condition with some minor cosmetic flaws to note. There is a small repair at the shoulder, and a few small areas of damage to the smocking at the waist. A few pinholes, but nothing in particular to mention. Overall presents very well and is very strong and wearable, but priced with "flaws" in mind.
