Gorgeous robe made in the 1980s by the Gallery of Wearable Art which was a luxury company known for making incredible one of a kind garments out of antique materials. This particular robe is beautifully handcrafted from late 10s to 1920s Japanese silk with stunning three dimensional floral embroideries, entirely trimmed with antique tassel fringe. The cut of the robe is reminiscent of both traditional kimonos as well as classic 1920s silhouettes with a very boxy shape that allows the robe to fit a huge range of sizes beautifully, as well as allowing an incredible amount of dramatic drape when worn. Perfect for luxurious afternoons lounging, or as a unique duster jacket to wear with your favorite dresses or jeans.

Excellent condition. A few very very subtle marks to embroidery and minor wear to fringe. Presents as mint.
