Edwardian Cotton Embroidered Lace Jacket [xs/sm/med]
$425.00
Absolutely incredible early 1900s articulated cotton jacket covered in the most beautiful floral embroidery, inset lace, and micro pleats. The workmanship on this jacket is just out of this world- you just cannot find this in modern clothing! Beautiful sleeves with ruffle details, endless amount of embroidery and surface treatments, finished with a beautifully scalloped edge. A truly magnificent example of Edwardian fashion.
Rare, excellent condition for a piece of this age. One or two very small separations to the lace and some very subtle discoloration at one shoulder. Presents beautifully and is very strong and wearable.
*note* on the sleeves there are slits where presumably silk ribbon once was woven in. It looks wonderful as is so I have left it to the new owner whether they would like to put new ribbons in.
