Unbelievably special one of a kind Edwardian Batternberg tape lace gown, painstakingly assembled by hand around the turn of the century. The unique piece is everything you want in an antique bridal gown. From the feminine bell sleeves to the long (but not unmanagably so) draping train, it is every bit a dream in antique lace. The cut is super flatting, hugging the body to the waist then flaring out into a full skirt. The lace has a lovely weight to it that gives the drape a nice structure. Everything about the craftsmanship of this gown is perfect, down to the closure system: a series of snaps entirely hidden in the design of the lace at the center back waist. It is entirely invisible once fastened! A truly remarkable heirloom worthy treasure.

Excellent condition!
