Rare and unusual 1920s silk and lace tap shorts attributed to famed lingerie designer Christophe. These tap pants are carefully crafts with miniature knife pleating at the front, an onset silk panel, and endless quantities of highest quality lace. Easy to wear with a small elastic section at the back of the waist. There are no labels whatsoever, but the quality and construction indicates that this is truly something special. The last photo is of a very similar pair of tap shorts from the Metroplitan Museum collection, also attributed to Christophe. 

Excellent condition. A few minor marks and some light wear to the back of the waistband, does not show when worn. Strong and wearable.
