Unbelievably beautiful c1900 Irish crochet blouse made entirely by hand with exquisite three dimensional and dangling details. An exceptional example of this complex type of lace with incredibly detailed motifs pieced together into a masterwork collage of texture. Has a high neck that has been folded down in the photos, but can also be worn tight around the collar for an authentic Belle Epoque look. Closes at the back with beautifully handmade buttons. The blouse is intentionally made shorter in the back, but can certainly be worn in either direction, back to front or front to back, the styling possibilities are endless.
