Utterly remarkable 1920s gown made from some of the most beautiful silk lamé fabric I had ever seen, completely covered in an Art Deco print depicting birds of paradise and floral motifs. Classically styled with a 1920s dropped waist silhouette, beautifully gathered at the waistline, with an attached belt that drapes seductively down the hip. Subtle details are everyone, including an amazing geometric "stepped" high low hem, a bright fuchsia silk faille skirt lining that flashed as you walk, and a unique wrap around bodice style that overlaps on either side. This piece is a rare survivor, and frankly is of museum quality. A true piece os wearable history.

Remarkable near pristine condition. Excellent!
