Fabulous 1930s pale pink skivvies set comprised of tap pants and a rare matching Kestos style bra. This style was popular for a short time in the early to mid 30s as it produced the perfect relaxed bust silhouette that went perfectly with the body skimming bias cut gowns of the time. Uniquely designed with buttons beneath either breast, and an elasticized extra long waistband that goes around the body to faster at either button for a perfect fit. This set is beautifully made, entirely sewn by hand even down to the seams, with hand embroidered details throughout. This set came from a museum deaccession (museum accession number tags are present in both pieces) and appears to have never been worn. Perfect for luxurious lounging or to style under a favorite sheer gown.

Excellent condition, appears unworn. Elastic has been freshly replaced. Museum accession tags have been left in place.
