Rare Edwardian c1900 Irish crochet duster masterwork, made entirely by hand over the course of hundred (if not thousands) of hours of hand work. One of the most beautiful Irish crochet examples we have seen, this piece has so many different individual elements rendered by hand in both flat and three dimensional designs. Large sculptural florals frame the neckline with panels of handmade filet lace insertion lace trailing down the length of the jacket, a unique detail that adds wonderful texture. Voluminous angel sleeves drape around the arms and shoulders for an elegant, relaxed look. This exquisite example would wear beautifully as part of an unforgettable and one of a kind bridal ensemble.
