Remarkable 1930s lamé and metallic embroidered cotton net capelet with couture quality hand finished details, very likely French in origin. The design is exquisite, with an unusual wrap style, with two long panels that wrap around the waist and fasten at either side with mirrored brass filigree buttons. We have never seen a piece quite like this before- it is basically the quintessential evening wrap, perfect for bridal or really any occasion- what doesn't go with gold? 

Excellent condition. A couple little areas of incredibly subtle tarnish to the lamé that gets totally lost in the drape. Presents as mint.
