1930s Chocolate Silk + Lace Appliqué Slip [sm/med]

$934.00

Sold Out

Incredibly rare and unique 1930s entirely handmade slip dress made from a rich chocolate brown silk charmeuse with French Alençon lace panels and floral silk appliqués. This gown is masterfully made entirely by hand (even down to the seams) and was almost certainly a custom garment, especially considering the very, very unusual color. There is a slightly sheerness to the lace, but the silk is opaque, making this piece very easy to wear: one could definitely get away with just nude undergarments beneath. This will instantly become your favorite go to for cocktails and summer soirées, then wear it again and again in the fall with tights, styled over a fabulous blouse.

Excellent condition. A few incredibly subtle minor marks, presents as mint condition.
