Striking 1940s crimson silk satin gown with gorgeous hand applied lace detailing throughout. Beautifully styled with a fitted bust and super full skirt that drapes beautifully around the wearer. Beautifully made with hand finishings throughout- all of the interior seams have been overcast by hand! The perfect winter holiday dress. Closes at the center back with mother of pearl buttons. 

Excellent condition. There is some extremely subtle minor color bleed in the lace at the hem, only noticeable upon very close inspection. Appears to have been altered smaller along the back seam at some point, the only evidence of which is that the edges have been serged more recently (all other seams are sewn by hand). Does not affect wear. Presents beautifully.
