$557.00

Fantastic 1990s hand dyed silk chiffon tunic by designer Carter Smith, known for his incredibly inventive hand dyed garments and accessories utilizing various techniques including shibori and other forms of tie dye. This tunic was acquired as part of a large collection of Smith's beautiful pieces, and while it is missing its label, the artist's work is unmistakable. It is likely this piece was created as a sample and is almost certainly one of a kind. The shape is exquisite, entirely cut on the bias for flowing and curve hugging silhouette that stretches and moves with the wearer. Split angel sleeves drape beautifully and add an extra layer of drama mirrored in the handkerchief hem.
