Lovely 1940s white rayon crepe dress with gorgeous hand done openwork and pastel floral embroidery. Single patch pocket at the hip that has a lovely folder detail. Sweet pleating throughout the design of the dress that gives a subtle modern elegance. Closes at one side with a rare and special early talon zipper.

Excellent condition with one pinhole at the shoulder and a couple very small scattered marks commensurate with age. Presents beautifully.
