Absolutely unreal 1930s ivory silk crepe back satin gown entirely covered with diamanté rhinestones like constellations in the sky. Quintessentially Old Hollywood, this gown it extremely elegant and sexy all in one with cross back straps and a sultry third halter neck strap. The bodice is heavily gathered through the chest for gorgeous draping and an ever so slightly Grecian feel. The body of the dress is cut on the bias for a perfectly flattering skin skimming fit, and extra fullness at the hem for a wide, draping skirt. Closes at the back with a series of floral cut glass rhinestone buttons. This incredible garment exemplified the best of 1930s glamour with extreme attention to detail: every single glass diamanté stone is set by hand with metal prong set backings. A once in a lifetime piece, this gown would make for an incredible heirloom worthy wedding gown, or a unforgettable choice for your next black tie event.

Overall excellent condition with minor cosmetic notes. There are a few small minor marks at the back hem of the skirt that get entirely lost in the drape. There are a few very small subtle abrasions/pulls to the silk at the waist area of the bodice as well as one or two scattered in the skirt, probably caused by the rhinestones rubbing on the silk in storage. In the underarm area there is one extremely subtle scuff and two rhinestones that have been reinforced from behind for extra stability where the studs started to pull slightly at the fabric. The top button is ever so slightly different from the rest. Finally, the inside only of the dress has some discoloration most notably in the bodice and straps, however this is entirely invisible on the exterior of the dress due to the nature of the silk and cannot be seen when worn. This may seem like quite the list, but the dress presents incredibly well with the "flaws" going entirely unnoticed when worn especially due to the drape and high sheen of the silk. This extraordinarily rare piece has been priced accordingly.
