1930s Crinkle Silk Chiffon Balloon Sleeve Gown [xs/sm/med]
$1,630.00
Diaphanous 1930s bias cut balloon sleeve gown made in the most beautiful petal pink crinkle silk chiffon with a soft pastel abstracted floral print. The perfect mix of softness and drama, this gown has a super full skirt and voluminous balloon sleeves that move beautifully with the wearer. The neckline has a sweet peter collar and pussy bow that is mirrored at the waistline as well. The waist tie is a small stroke of genius- the design allows the garment to go on very easy despite having no side closures while still giving a cinched flattering fit at the waistline when tied. The style makes this gown not only incredibly beautiful on, but also remarkably comfortable to wear. Beautifully made, entirely finished by hand. Perfect for a summer soiré or your new favorite wedding guest ensemble. A remarkable survivor- very likely French in origin.
Excellent condition. A few extremely subtle marks that get entirely lost. Presents as mint.
