1930s inky black silk bias cut gown with a stylized art deco floral print with a hand drawn effect. The styling on this gown is fantastic- from the voluminous bubble sleeves, to the elegant deco lines and dramatically notched fold-over collar. The body of the gown is cut on the bias for a super flattering form hugging fit. No side closures, but has a huge amount of bias stretch go on easily overhead. A quintessential piece of femme fatale Old Hollywood style.

Excellent condition. On a few of the white flowers there is some very subtle red color bleed spilled over from the adjacent red blooms- very minor and only noticeable upon close inspection. Otherwise there is some subtle darkening at the nape of the neck that does not show when worn, two pinholes at the back hem and few subtle scattered pulls and small marks. Presents beautifully.
