Gorgeous 1920s cotton dress made from a precise patchwork of Irish crochet, filet, whitework embroidery and more delicate antique laces. The body of the dress is made from a sheer, lightweight cotton voile and lined with a sheathe of cotton mesh for an extra layer of stability. Cut in the classic 1920s silhouette, draping beautifully around the body loosely, perfect for warm summer days. Has hidden snap closed at the side seam and one shoulder, but also slips over the head with ease. An exquisite example of early 20th century craftsmanship that translates seamlessly into a modern wardrobe. 

Excellent condition. There are a few small subtle marks at the back towards the side seam, and a couple teeny tiny pinholes at one shoulder. Presents as mint.
