1900s Insertion Lace Bloomers

Gorgeous Edwardian cotton bloomers with the very best feminine details! Super wide leg cut with a drop crotch perfect for easy summer wear, and detailed with lace paneling that goes all the way up both sides showing just the right amount of skin. Insertion lace designs decorate the legs, finished with blue silk ribbons at either side. Unlike some older cottons, this material is opaque, making for a perfect pair of lightweight shorts that you will live in all summer. Center back drawstring closure. 

Excellent condition. Some ever so slight darkening at the back waist- negligible. A couple small marks have been disguised with hand applied pieces of antique lace. We sewed up the originally open crotch to make these adorable bloomers wearable for the modern day. At Demetra, each garment is thoroughly cleaned, inspected for damage and professionally repaired with nearly a decade of experience in tailoring and working with antique materials. Each garment will arrive clean and ready to wear will little to no signs of age.
