Absolutely fantastic 1930s crinkle silk chiffon gown in a rich chartreuse color and art deco microprint. Beautifully styled with a low cut neckline and large draping attached capelet whose movement is mirrored in the flowing ruffled tiers of the skirt, finished with a wide layer of black mesh around the hem for added volume and texture. The fabric choices on this beauty are really what make it so special- from the color to texture, volume, hand and drape, they are perfectly chosen to elevate the design and silhouette. The sheerness of the material gives this piece endless layering and styling potential, perfect for year round wear with a simple change of undergarments. Incredibly unique and flattering beyond belief!

Excellent restored condition. When found the dress had quite a few loose seams and a smattering of small holes in the skirt and on the cape, all of which have been repaired professionally in house and are now almost entirely invisible. There is a very subtle small reddish mark on the skirt front, but it is located underneath the skirt flounce and is entirely covered when worn. At the seat of the dress there is a small area of wear and pulls, but it is very, very subtle and gets totally lost in the busy print. There may be some subtle scattered pulls or a pinholes otherwise, but overall the dress is in stunning condition and presents beautifully when worn.

Belt is for styling purposes only and is not included.
