Fantastic 1940s crazy quilt style coat made from tie silks pieced together geometrically with a hand worked feather stitch in blue silk floss. The effect is gorgeous, a perfect harmony of patterns and colors in a unique silhouette. Has classic late puffed sleeves, duster length with a very full skirt especially in the back, with a bustle like fullness accentuated by the gorgeous lines of the embroidery and pleats. Fully lined in rayon. 

Excellent condition. Some light marks towards the hem on the lining only that are not visible when worn. A couple patches show light wear/repair, but it is only noticeable upon close inspection. Presents beautifully.
